I am drowning in materials, emails coming my way, including one long warning on a possible false flag operation coming up, that draws from a Bart Simpson cartoon:

The clear intention I think is to scare people, the "War on Terrorism" as far as I can tell is simply a "War of Terrorism" directed against the American and world community. I also received an email with a link to another film entitled-deceptions and website-www.deceptionsusa.com by the Awareness Institute created by Chris Pratt (Read a Review by Rady Ananda.) It looks very good, but I haven't had time to view it, as I have been so busy reading books on the Initiative Process, doing my radio show, preparing/attending last night's Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance meeting, and tonight we will be gathering at Janette's house for a healing circle.

Elizabeth Woodworth also wrote an excellent article Ethical Reflections on the 9/11 Controversy Do Information Science and Media Professionals Have a Duty to Provide Evidence-Based Information to a Questioning Public? and the 2010 Colorado Democratic Party platform, approved by the 146 member platform committee states: “The Colorado Democratic Party calls for the establishment of a truly independent Grand Jury and public investigation in order to find the truth of the September 11, 2001 attacks.” which is another significant breakthrough. As the official story of 9/11 continues tofall apart, however, within the truth movement the divisions seem to deepen, and I find myself being torn by so many factions, not just within the movement, but within my personal life, as well. I'm still working on integrating all I've been learning with self healing, and doing what I can to heal the groups I'm so involved with, but that isn't something that I have any expertise or skill at; and I have a lot of learning to do.

Michael Hudson and others are so good at describing the parasitical, destructive, criminal machinations of those running the global economy (See his latest article: U.S. “Quantitative Easing” is Fracturing the Global Economy), but the challenging thing is how do wetransform the system? I gave a lift to my friend Kenn Burrows, who teaches Holistic Health at UCSF, and is on the Project Censored Board, and attempted to facilitate the Understanding Deep Politics Retreat last spring and he told me a story about his own experience...

A shamanic/psychic friend warned Kenn that he would get very sick, for 3 years, then be ill for 20 years, but that it would teach him a great deal... Kenn jokingly laughed and dismissed the warning, he was about to go hiking in the mountains and couldn't imagine getting sick. However, in the mountains he came into contact with some sort of parasite- which did get him quite sick and his efforts to rid himself of the parasite did great harm to some of his vital organs, so he has been trying to learn how to cope with or live with a parasite, since then. His story, and the metaphor, could also, perhaps, be applied to the evolution of humanity... Elizabet Sahtouris, the evolutionary biologist, speaks about the time when bacteria dominated the planet and created a deadly toxin that was killing the bacteria off- and to cope with the substance (oxygen) the nucleated cell developed. Maybe we have to move to a new level of cooperation, if we are to survive, and figure out how to live without committing I don't even know the term for species-suicide.

Where I am finding hope is in the "Gifting" idea and the gifting reality. The NEW Community Currency WEBSITE which is still under construction is really a gift, coolaboration between Matthew Slater, editor of Community Currency Magazine and myself and I hope as the sheer criminal/destructive nature of the exchange economy is exposed more time, resources, energy, and money will be oured into something healing, life sustaining, real. The old system based on lies, deception, violence does seem doomed and the more creative, fun, inspiring the new systems are the more likely they are to flourish and replace the old structures.

So many meetings, conversations, activity in this past week...On Saturday, Ashara, Cougar and I built the For-Giving Altar at the 31st Annual Spiral Dance, which was a wonderful, inspiring experience, although I certainly did mourn the passing of people that I loved, and the illnesses that are afflicting some of my dearest friends right now.

It was an intensely busy week for me and I had hoped for more time to prepare for the altar and bake all the food for, not just, the altar, but all the volunteers, singers, dancers who contribute to the annual ritual. Last year I baked so much stuff!!!!! This year I couldn't bake as much, or prepare as much, I just ran out of time and did what I could do... I did bake spiral cookies, chocolate chip cookies, raisin oatmeal cookies, lemon cake, bread rolls... and when I made the altar (which are supposed to be somewhat interactive I included a sign which solicited help to distribute the food at the appropriate time in the ritual, after the Spiral Dance). Last year, I needed a lot of help to pass out all the food, but this year, since there wasn't as much, I did ask the organizers to coordinate our efforts. Surprisingly, they did not receive their usual donations and only had some bread to pass out- so they were very happy and glad to help bless the food and pass it out at the end of the ritual and there was enough for everyone! There were even leftover baked goods, fruit, nuts, and chocolate! (Partially it was my fault, for overlooking a couple of tins of cookies on the altar, that didn't make it into the heavily laden baskets that were passed around.) However, I spent the night in San Francisco, to save me a long drive, so that I could work with Matthew Slater, editor of Community Currency Magazine who spent all of Sunday with me working on this website to create a better one with Drupal. This is such a massive, hard to navigate, organic, old site, that has diverged greatly from its original purpose. I hope that the new site will be more useful and easier to navigate. I know where the links are and how to get around this website, but I don't think other people can do that easily without getting totally lost and sidetracked.

In addition to the radio show work, the meetings, I read Ordinary People Doing the Extraordinary: The Story of Ed and Joyce Koupal and the Initiative Process by the People's Lobby which they founded. They also revitalized the initiative process in California for important reforms in the 70's, and I learned that all the gains of the Populist movement in the 1800's were acheived after they first got the initiative process passed in many states. There is so much that I need to learn about "process," especially if we decide to move forward with the California 9/11 Truth Commission Ballot Initiative. Speaking of process, there are some outstanding videos illustrating (literally) the evolution of humans, our thought processes, the need for an Empathic Civilization by RSA Animate (who have produced a large number of excellent animated lectures). This particular video, since I've been thinking and doing so much on moving us towards a gift economy, reminded me of how important empathy is and how little people, in general, are aware of what makes them happy. "Giving" rather than taking is a deep joy, no matter how much propaganda bombards us trying to convince us of the opposite - that with enough money we could buy our way to happiness.

It has been dramatic the past couple of weeks. Former Senator Mike Gravel and his daughter came over for dinner this evening, and he will be flying back east tomorrow and returning to California to live here on December 1st. Yesterday, we had an organizing meeting for the California 9/11 Citizen's Commission Initiative which Ken Jenkins wisely recorded so that we can post it online; I haven't written up my notes, yet, but it was a 3 hour meeting and fairly intense with an attempted conference call with organizers from Southern California. They couldn't hear us, however. We hope to organize a face to face meeting of activists from California to discuss stratgy for the coming years. I finished reading and writing a review of Professor Anthony J. Hall's excellent book- Earth into Property: Colonization, Decolonization, and Capitalism, but haven't had time to post it, yet. Still in triage mode, and can only get through the urgencies of each day, never quite catching up. So many great new organizing tools, though, coming my way. Jules and I saw the new documentary Inside Job when it premiered in Palo Alto. It is an excellent documentary, beautifully done, great graphics to help people understand precisely how CDO's work and how so many people were robbed...and the steps taken over decades that led to the utter criminalization of the financial system. I also have been receiving more great books- and wish I had time to read them! And to write about the ones I have read... including David Ray Griffin's Cognitive Infiltration.

I don't foresee any major slackening of my pace for awhile unless I come down with the cold that Senator Gravel has been trying to get rid of.

Last week was extremely demanding, I tried to finish my article Money of, by, for the Corporations OR Money of, by, for the People? and pick up Jose Rodriguez and former Senator Mike Gravel at the airport on Wednesday and Thursday. The meeting Thursday night was very well attended and I certainly enjoyed meeting and speaking with both of them. I look forward to working with them on the California 9/11 Truth Commission Initiative, and other projects, as well. There is so much overlap on understanding 9/11, the financial system, the history of corporations and the United States, the evolution of law, our understanding of power. Today, I read a great article by Michael Hudson entitled Why the IMF Meetings Failed And the Coming Capital Controls which looks at the havoc created globally by the quantitive easing taking place today and patiently explaining the evolution of the monetary system, at least since 1933. I don't know how I failed to stumble upon David DeGraw's excellent work before, but he has done some outstanding investigative reporting on the financial system for quite some time, and has appeared on my favorite journalist, Max Keiser's show. His article Inside the Global Banking Intelligence Complex, BCCI Operations Part II details the evolution of the criminal cartel that has been running the country and looting the planet for decades. It's just amazing that these guys have gotten away with it and aren't in jail, or haven't been lynched!

Timothy Geithner is supposed to speak in Palo Alto next week. DeGraw identifies Geithner as the trigger man for the Asian crisis/looting, responsible for carrying out policies which cost Indonesia, Thailand other countries dearly. The IMF pattern, which Joe Stiglitz has described to Greg Palast are now being applied to the US and Europe. Trillions have been stolen by the top tenth of one percent while saddling debts upon the public- privatizing profits while externalizing costs. With 77% of the public living paycheck to paycheck, the middle clas is being wiped out, riots quenched by food stamps, welfare payments, which could end as the social safety net erodes due to "austerity measures." DeGraw's new book is entitled The Road Through 2012: Revolution or World War III.

My friend, and Green Party candidate for Governor, Laura Wells, was just arrested today for trying to attend a debate between the Democratic and Republican candidates, despite the fact that she had a ticket for the event. These are the times that Orwell warned of- when truth, justice, morality, courage are criminalized and the the biggest criminals are running the governments.

Obviously, I've been way too busy to catch up on this website, working, kid's birthdays, a romantic vacation with my husband, preparing for and giving a presentation in Chicago at the 6th Annual AMI Monetary Reform Conference on Strategy for the Monetary Reform Movement. While I was gone, Mickey Huff and John Wright filled in as co-hosts on my radio show. I still need to decide on guests for the next show, but I think it will be on the conference. I'm currently trying to finish writing a report on it, but I also have to deal with household needs and just learned former Senator Mike Gravel is arriving in California Thursday to attend our regular Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance meeting and tour California for two weeks to spearhead an effort to promote this-

9/11 Truth California Initiative

As concerned citizens, we are joining together to raise funds to file an initiative in California to enact a "9/11 Truth Commission law." Once passed, this new commission untainted by politics and with subpoena powers to investigate 9/11 and its aftermath, the Afghan and Iraqi wars and the global War on Terror generally. Once the initiative process is under way in California, identical initiative measures will be filed in other initiative-enabled states such as Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Ohio Oregon, Vermont, Washington, and others. These numerous filings will make the need for a new investigation of 9/11 a political issue in the presidential and congressional elections of November 2012. Millions of people are aware of the problems with what we've been told happened on 9/11. To take just one thing, the freefall collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 looked exactly like a controlled demolition with explosives, and 1300 architects and engineers are calling for a new investigation, with subpoena power. I'm with a group that wants to implement this new investigation through a voter initiative. Could I count on your support? (hand the person a card) -- 24 seconds.

The collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 on the afternoon of 9/11, an event that baffled engineers, now appears to be the most obvious of many smoking guns. Architects and engineers, scientists, military officers, and actors and artists have organized themselves, along with the Building What? Campaign, to seek the truth. Neither the Obama administration nor the US Congress has responded to repeated requests for a new investigation of 9/11. Mainstream media avoids the issue, taking its cue from government officialdom. Those contributing to ad hoc investigations, bringing forth new facts, are characterized as conspiracy nuts.

In order to evade the conspiracy characterization, our rhetoric will only focus on the need for a new investigation, devoid of the politics associated with earlier efforts. This strategy will be reinforced by the selection of distinguish persons to serve as commission members who will be identified in initiative filing documents ; some commissioners may be foreigners. Commission candidates will be recruited from the global 9/11 Truth Movement. The commissioners will appoint the all-important director of the commission.

In summary, a 9/11 Initiative campaign will:

Focus attention of the Global 9/11 Truth Movement on an actionable goal
Necessitate the raising of substantial funds to finance the initiative campaign
Have a website to facilitate citizen participation, fundraising, and financial transparency
Seek out and vet distinguished, qualified persons, to serve on the commission
File identical initiative measures in several states to make the 9/11 Initiative a national issue
Circumvent the government and the media by going directly to the people
Result in a commission with subpoena powers and the necessary public funding
Create an official body untainted by political interests able to pursue the facts surrounding 9/11 regardless of where they lead

I called to see if I could get him for my radio show, but he will be flying in Thursday afternoon, and I ended up volunteering to chauffeur him from the ariport to our meeting, and will have him on my radio show next week.

It should be a very interesting meeting. I believe he is a very exceptional former Senator and certainly the most prestigious politician to champion 9/11 Truth. I hope that we can have a very candid, open dialogue on the state of DC, the world, and the hurdles/potential of a ballot initiative, certainly something that I would have never dreamed of trying to do under the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance banner. Technically we are still in limbo, leaving PDF and not quite under AE911Truth.org's umbrella, and in no position to fundraise (which I hate and refuse to do).

I am also torn between the 9/11 Truth and Monetary Reform work and the radio show requires much time and attention. Chicago was amazing, there were folks from all over the world and I learned a lot. Top Australian economist Steve Keen posted his report and videos of Professor Michael Hudson and Professor Yamaguchi's presentations on his website debtdeflation.com.

I was drowning in messages when I came back including the sad news that Arizona 9/11 Truth activist/organizer Kent Knudson (who was the main organizer for the 9/11 Accountability Conference) recently committed suicide.

I don't know if the government drove him over the edge or not. Griffin's new book Cognitive Infiltration hints that they will go to great lengths to destroy the Truth Movement. We are certainly in a cognitive war, as well as a class war between the super-rich and everyone else.

I surfaced from work to go for a walk with a friend today who told me about some horrific shocking head exploding ads put out by a Climate Change group in the UK. I wonder if they were also being made to discredit the American 10.10.10 Campaign which I suspect is a benign, non-violent, peaceful, satyagraha style powerful campaign that actually might threaten the more violent, criminal, tiny percent of the population who have been getting away with murder and looting the planet dramatically for more than decades...

Jerry Mazza wrote about the origins of the "Tea Party Movement" tracing them back to the Boston 9/11 Truth group and Barbara Honegger and described how that idea got coopted and taken over by the right wing. So many great ideas get picked up and perverted and eventually discredited under this Orwellian government/corporate state, and used to sell some terrible legislation that does the opposite of what it is supposedly intended to do.

Argh, time flies... back to work.

I've been working since yesterday on a press release/article on the upcoming 9/11 Truth Rally/events, and reading for my upcoming speech at the American Monetary Institute's conference later this month, when I'm in too much pain to sit at the computer. I did, however, get distracted today, when I received a review copy of Bill Douglas's new novel 2012 The Awakening which I only meant to read a few pages of, but found it impossible to put down. I highly recommend it. I posted a review on Amazon-

"If you've seen the film- Inception which includes dreams within dreams within dreams, then you might appreciate that there are stories within stories, within stories, that Life is often times stranger and more miraculous than anything that fiction writers can come up with. This book is in some ways a miracle, a portal into dreams, visions, possibilities, as well as the nightmares that people do not want to look at or experience, our greatest fears. I don't want to give away the plot, but I will say that Bill Douglas is a real person, a heroic guy, who walked into my life many years ago, along with his wife, to perform some miraculous work, vitally needed at the time, and I have the deepest respect for him. I just wish each book came with extra hours. My day is gone and I still have lots of work to do... but I do think that Bill's book was "healing" and I also learned about and added links to World Healing Day, as I inevitably age, my kids grow up, my friends come down with cancer and die... I am more inclined to remain calm, remember how fortunate I am, be grateful for each moment, send love and appreciation to those that I care about and live so far away... and remember how deeply attached we all are to another on levels invisible to this material realm.

Brett made some amazing revelations on my radio show yesterday. (See my posting on the local website www.paloaltoonline.com). In the evening, Jeremy and I went to see a friend's opening performance in San Francisco. She did a great job and I just posted a review of the show here. (Her name is Rebecca Cross and she composed and performs the theme music for my radio show).

Sadly, I learned that a great friend, philanthropist, died yesterday, Henry Dakin, who was an incredibly wonderful, generous, thoughtful man. He also hosted the first meetings of the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance at his building at 3220 Sacramento Street. I will miss him and my heart goes out to his family.

I have an impossible amount of work and cooking to do. The SF Mime Troupe performs this evening in Palo Alto and I need to get ready and make dinner for everyone.

Today temperatures soared to over one hundred degrees. It was an unusually cool summer until yesterday. I have been enjoying hikes when possible, but lately I have been stuck at the computer working, mainly on 9/11 Truth, and my radio show, trying to avoid getting involved with the upcoming 6th Annual 9/11 Truth Film Festival which I have organized for years. This year, I made it clear that I did not want to be on the committee, and that I was too busy with my radio show and would only work on our 9th Annual 9/11 Truth Rally/March, although, of course, I still have to do the financial stuff, bookkeeping and moving us from the umbrella of one 501c3 to another. There is endless work. I must admit, though, that after the last meeting, my concern for the success of the Film Festival was so great that I called Bonnie Faulkner, who as been our Mistress of Ceremonies for years, to see if she could help out. Bonnie and I get along fine, but I have a harder time with the organizing committee whom I tend to disagree with on almost every aspect of the Film Festival, so I am trying not to become involved and to allow them to make the decisions and do the work. Unfortunately, I think their committee members working on publicity have quit, been unable to meet deadlines, and that they are in dire need of help, so I did volunteer to do a radio show on the new film, Hypothesis which will premiere at the Film Festival with the film maker, 27 year old Brett Smith, who is coming to the Bay Area for the screenings. I finally heard from him today, and watched the film, which is a delightful, honest, short documentary on Professor Steven Jones, one of the 9/11 truth heroes. I really enjoyed our conversation and am looking forward to the upcoming interview (This Thursday, August 26th, 2-3 pm Pacific Time on Progressive Radio Network.

A friend of mine stopped by today, and it was so hot that instead of going for our usual walk- we thought we'd go for a swim, but we had some time before the pool opened, so we watched a DVD that an activist had sent me entitled- 9/11 Truth: the World's Best Hope - The Ultimate Call to Unity in Diversity which was basically a presentation that activist, Dan Noel gave July 7, 2010 at the Freedom Forum of Orange County. He published an e-book version of the material later on a website, but I think he did a very good job of organizing his information, ideas, insights, and strategy which is geared towards those who have already figured out that 9/11 was an inside job, but maybe haven't figured out how to raise consciousness, or what to do with their insights. Dan who gave the presentation has a strong French accent, I learned that he is from Belgium. His presentation may not have been the best, or easiest to follow, simply due to his accent, but my friend and I loved him and agreed with him by the end of his presentation.

I just wish I had time to view and read all the stuff that comes my way and help get it out to a wider audience. Before we went swimming, I checked my email and got the message from Brett, so I missed my swim and started to work right away on Thursday's show. I have so many deadlines, I'm still not able to keep up with the work, but it is hard to resist the demands of my husband, kids, friends when they need attention (or food!) and I especially have to take a break for my body's sake from the computer and try to follow the advice that I am constantly inflicting on Jean-Luc and the kids about getting to bed, and getting some sleep at night.

I am very inspired to work on the upcoming rally and did a show on this year's theme- Take Back Gandhi's 9/11 - Satyagraha - Truth Force with Arnie Passman. I also stumbled across a 17 minute film, on the theme of our rally, which the Film Festival Committee might squeeze into the Film Festival (It is scheduled to show at the Bal on 9/11/2010 and maybe they will show it at the Grand Lake on Thursday, September 9th, but they still haven't finalized the schedule- which means they missed calendar/psa announcement deadlines.)

August 9, 2010 - 65 years since they dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki - Time to Retire Nuclear Weapons...

Last Thursday, after we went public with the Declaration of Accountability, my son and I rushed to the East Bay where we hoped to see Janette and her son and the film South of the Border which was on the last day of its run in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, Janette Mackinlay is not as mobile as she used to be and needs a walker and couldn't get up the stairs to the theater where it was playing, so she didn't stay, but It was good to see her briefly and her son and we talked a little on the phone and I'm glad she is feeling more sociable.

South of the Border was a damning look at the US' role in the coup against Chavez and the behavior of the corporate press in the US and in all the Latin American countries where leaders were elected despite the media attacks, because of their strong popular support. It was an inspiring film.

The Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance meeting had a very full agenda and we couldn't really get to, or devote the proper amount of time to all the important matters, although a number of financial decisions, budget items were passed. Jules and I had to get up so early the next day, I was anxious to get home ASAP when the meeting broke up.

I got up at 5 am to have breakfast, load the car, get us to Livermore in time to set up our table before the rally/action. It was good to see so many old friends and to make new ones. There were some beautiful, moving words, speeches, and songs. Jules kept an eye on the table so that I could participate in the action and get arrested again. A friend was supposed to meet us there, but he had car trouble and didn't show up until Sunday. It seems like I have been interrupted by people, phone calls, so many things that I haven't been able to catch up with the website, my work, research, all the committments and promises and things that I need to, want to, have to do, but that's life.

I did go to the Free Gaza Movement Dinner on Sunday evening which was very moving, and another reunion with activist friends. I do hope to do another radio show on the subject, but I still need to do a lot of legwork for the upcoming events that I'm organizing, iron out the financial situation for the group, and keep the family happy... almost more demands than I can juggle. I wish there were more hours in the day.

Tomorrow I hope that the Declaration of Accountability that we have been working on for so long will be finished and posted online. Barrie Zwicker was going to do the show with Charlotte and Kristina, but he had to cancel at the last minute. Today is probably my last chance to pull things together for Friday, August 6th, when we will be rallying and participating in the "Time to Retire Nuclear Weapons" actions at Livermore Labs. There is so much happening with that issue, including the UN Secretary General calling for a conference and setting deadlines to disarm. Only after doing the radio show with Marylia Kelley, did I read a damning review of Countdown to Zero - Disarmament for Some - Co-opting the Anti-Nuclear Movement By Darwin Bond-Graham. Last weekend, we did go to the premiere, but the traffic was also and I think we missed the first 35 minutes of the film, so I don't feel qualified to condemn it, but I certainly see why Darwin wrote what he did, just giving villains the opportunity to say something intelligent and reasonable- makes them look better than they should on a subconscious level.

I also went to see the film Inception with my family and friends, which in light of all the research that I've been doing lately on "Mind Control" was quite interesting. (See a review of it entitled- The Deception of Real World Inception). In the film, to enter the dream state where "ideas" can be stolen or implanted, one is hooked up and drugged. I recently met a very frightened victim of Mind Control who described how when she was hiding out in a hotel room, trying to sort and collate documents, someone must have knocked her out somehow, gotten into the room, stole some of the documents, and when she woke up, she had two needle marks in her arm, and had been violated and felt traumatized. She told me this, just the day before I saw the film. The same day, I called up a researcher on the subject, and he said that "chipping technology" is almost obsolete and that they are more sophisticated these days (which was her worry- she had an x-ray taken, but it didn't show anything), and he suggested that she write it all up, send it to the Attorney General and that might induce them to back off, if she went through the right channels.

I do wonder what the process is when the powers that be determine who is worthy of assassination, harassment, public character assassination, loss of job, loss of income... The expansion of Fusion Centers and Counter-Intelligence centers certainly does not bode well for democracy, but it does reveal that the most paranoid, frightened people are those in high positions of power.

I am trying to just stay healthy, keep my life balanced, and not get too stressed at not being able to do all the things that i wish I could do, as far as the organizing/political work is concerned.

It seems like I've been in triage since our return from Hawaii, at least, I haven't been able to begin catching up on the website, as I've always been behind in pulling together the upcoming radio shows. Finally, I have been able to think beyond tomorrow, and apply for our booth and a permit for our annual rally/march in San Francisco on the 9th anniversary of the September 11th attacks and get my airline ticket to the annual American Monetary Institute's Conference on Monetary Reform. Yesterday, I went to a party where I met my friend's son's girlfriend who had just spent a month in Washington DC; she is majoring in International Relations. I invited her and her boyfriend to join us and see the premiere of Countdown to Zero and to participate in the rally/action on August 6th, the 65th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima at Livermore Labs, where the theme of the gathering is nuclear disarmament (her major interest)- "It's Time to Retire Nuclear Weapons". She told me that she had seen a premiere of the film in DC, where she met the producers. She also got a tour of the CIA on her trip, and told me she noticed a distinct "spin" that was directed at her and that she thought she would sterer clear of Capitol Hill and try to work in the non-profit sector, when she graduates from USC.

My son, Jules, who just graduated from Oberlin, is also beginning to apply for internships and jobs, and he might end up working at the American Monetary Institute. I'm glad that the new generation is more politicized and aware than I ever was at their age. It gives me hope.

Today I got an email with a link to the video Perspectives of Moral Political Economy - Muhammad Rafeeq - Global Vision 2000 an excellent insight, perspective, on what is taking place at the global level regarding monetary reform, and a damning indictment of the military backing of centralized banking, the manipulation and control over the Foreign Exchange Rates, the secrecy behind whose been in control of the banking system in the UK, the lack of integrity of those in government, the decptive figures behind the ratios of debt versus income. I just hope there are many more besides me who are unravelling thethe fabrications used to legitimate the largest criminal racket in the world who will help transition us towards a just, peaceful, transparent, honest system which actually serves rather tyrannizes humanity. I just wonder if the transition will occur in my lifetime or not; it seems that even small changes/events/projects require ten times the time and energy one would think that they would need to "happen."

On the 4th of July, My son and I went to Muir Woods State Monument, for the first time. I had no idea how popular it was!!!! Multiple buses unloaded flocks of tourists who could easily stroll through a flat trail through the Redwoods in the valley. Dana had begun setting up the 9/11 Truth table in the Free Speech zone and we helped him for a few hours before John from Colorado, John Wright and Kai showed up to help. There was a continual line of foot traffic, some good conversations, and people were taking flyers when I passed them out. Dana liked to let them come to him and make the first overture.

My son and I got in a couple of great hikes, too.

Yesterday, I went, by myself, to San Francisco for the protest against Netanyahu's visit, which we endorsed, in support of the Free Gaza Flotilla. There were fewer people there than in the wake of the deadly attacks, but I was glad to have a sign that I made and flyers with our message to pass out. Afterwards I went to a great event on "Sharing" featuring the Creative Commons, and other groups working on cooperative endeavors from co-working to WikiHow to a magazine dedicated to connecting people with stories and examples of the expansion of the sharing efforts now taking place. I asked the keynote speaker, Neal Gorenflo, publisher of shareable.net to be on my radio show next week and offered him a ride home (he lives nearby in Mountain View). It was a delight to meet someone who is working in the same direction, but with a radically different background and experiences. I met some great people at both the protest and afterwards at the event.

Unfortuneately, I think the awkward configuration of my workstation at home is causing me some serious problems, and I just can't spend as much time on the computer anymore without wrecking my body, so I have to ration my work-time. I wish I could do more, but I simply can't.

My kids returned from college in early June and my husband decided to take us all on a rare family vacation to Hawaii to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and my son's graduation from college. Family comes first, and I had to let go of any hopes of attending the U.S. Social Forum or protesting the G-20 in Toronto. About the only time I can actually resist doing the political work is when I am away with the family and have no access to computer/phone and no idea what is happening in the real world. It was wonderful to be in a place that I loved, away from the pain of sitting too long at a computer, enjoying my family, including my brother who lives on Kauai, and being able to catch the sunrise and walk to one of my favorite trails in the whole world- the Kalalau trail, which zigzags the western Na Pali coast on Kauai.

We did have to catch a red-eye flight on the way home and I still haven't caught up on all my mail and phone messages, but I'm trying to do the most critical stuff first- like my radio show and straightening out the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance financial situation, and working on the calendar/events since so many people depend on me to remind them or notify them about our upcoming meetings and events.

With all three boys home this summer, however, I doubt if I'll be able to do as much work, as I usually do. They still require attention and enormous amounts of food!

Last week, before I left for Ohio for my son's graduation, I emailed Greta Berlin to request interviews with the Free Gaza Movement.

At Oberlin, Reverend James M. Lawson Jr.,was awarded an honorary degree... Here's a snippet of his history which is a mirror of the history of non-violent direct action in the US...

"While a freshman at College in Berea, Ohio, he joined the Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR), and the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE). Both FOR and CORE advocated nonviolent resistance to racism; CORE conducted sit-ins in some northern cities in the late 1940s and embarked on a freedom ride more than a decade before the more famous ones of the early 1960s.

"Consistent with those principles of nonviolence, Lawson declared himself a conscientious objector and refused to report for the draft in 1951. He served fourteen months in prison after refusing to take either a student or ministerial deferment. After his release from prison, Lawson went as a Methodist missionary to Nagpur, India, where he studied satyagraha, the principles of nonviolence resistance that Mohandas Gandhi and his followers had developed. He returned to the United States in 1955, entering the Graduate School of Theology at Oberlin College in Ohio.

"One of his Oberlin professors introduced him to Martin Luther King, Jr., who had led the Montgomery Bus Boycott in Montgomery, Alabama and had also embraced Gandhi's principles of nonviolent resistance. King urged Lawson to come South, telling him "Come now. We don't have anyone like you down there."

"Lawson moved to Nashville, Tennessee and enrolled at the Divinity School of Vanderbilt University, where he served as the southern director for CORE and began conducting nonviolence training workshops for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. While in Nashville, Lawson met and mentored a number of young students at Vanderbilt, Fisk University, and other area schools in the tactics of nonviolent direct action. In Nashville, Lawson trained many of the future leaders of the 1960s Civil Rights Movement, among them Diane Nash, James Bevel, Bernard Lafayette, Marion Barry, and John Lewis. In 1959 and 1960 these and other Lawson-trained activists launched the Nashville sit-ins to challenge segregation in downtown stores. Along with activists from Atlanta, Georgia and elsewhere in the South, they formed the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee..."

The Free Gaza ships flotilla attempting to deliver aid to Gaza struck me as one of the most vibrant, courageous acts of non-violent resistance/direct action that I was aware of, and I thought they deserved more attention (I'd had them on my earlier radio show long ago, in July 2008, when they were doing one of the first voyages.)

I was shocked and horrified upon my return from Ohio late Monday night to read the next day - all the emails describing the threats, the boarding, the violence, the deaths, the wounding of so many passengers... So yesterday, I just dropped everything to go to San Francisco and show solidarity towards the brave people who were attacked by the Israeli forces, which included a local Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance/Green Party/Peace activist, retired teacher, friend, Janet Kobren.

There will be another protest/demonstration at the Civic Center on Saturday, and I'd like to have banners, signs, and handouts. It seems to me that this horrific event, illustrates the essence of the State Crimes Against Democracy/State Terrorism taking place with zero accountability/collusion with the corporate media - in violation of the most basic human ethics, in defiance of national and international law and global civilian opinion. It's so outrageous - that there is even a possibility that this might be a teachable moment which wakes up some of the slumbering public, as the truth seeps its way into public consciousness.

I just wish I had more time to sleep- and prepare for the radio show, tomorrow night's meeting, the demonstration on Saturday, and the return of my two kids coming back from college on Saturday night.

I'm so behind on this website, but that's what happens when I'm superbusy and days behind in my life. After the big Firefighters, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth events, I really never caught up- with the housework, let alone everything else, before we had house guests, including Barrie Zwicker, in prelude to the Understanding Deep Politics Conference and Retreat. On Thursday, we were awoken early by Professor Anthony J. Hall, who had missed his flight connection and was arriving late. It seemed like all of the plans were delayed by one thing or another, including the retreat, which was pushed back by the bonfire Sunday evening, and a health emergency Monday morning, but despite all the surprises, miscommunications, dashed hopes, disappointments, both the conference and retreat brought together some great people, sparked great consversations and initiated all sorts of new relationships, collaborations and projects. I hesitate to write up a report, until we are further along on our collective endeavor and ready to go public. I will say that organizers and participants learned a great deal from our experiences throughout the week. I'm very glad that I did what I did, even if I made my life and the work of the conference organizers a bit more complicated.

I have so much to do and not enough time to do it, but I couldn't resist writing an article entitled Ghosts of War Crimes Past, Present and Future Haunt Retired Politicians, although I had hoped to publish it prior to yesterday's radio show with Charlotte Dennett. I was up til nearly 2 am, after last night's Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance meeting, sending an email list out to our list about tonight and tomorrow's events and the upcoming conference, as well as other events, and posting those on the calendar. I guess I'm only three days behind on my life, but I can't see how I can catch up. Tomorrow, I'm also supposed to do another interview on Vortex Network News at 10 am. I still need to load the car, update my website, and face all the bureaucratic hurdles involved with organizing a retreat.

I have been in my usual triage mode, and haven't had time to catch up with this website. I updated a new version of my annual Christmas Letter and wrote a less personal one, especially for activists, to send out with the new Deception and Perception Dollars, the promotional cards for the upcoming Firefighters, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth events, and the Understanding Deep Politics Conference, while trying to organize a retreat following the conference, and baking a cake and throwing a party for Jean-Luc and his friends to celebrate Jean-Luc's 50th Birthday, and getting to San Francisco for the Future of Money and Technology Summit. It was a huge job as I sent out about 400 pieces of mail... Tomorrow is actually Jean-Luc's real birthday, but he is going to work, and I'll be doing an interview during the day on North Bay Uprising on Vallejo's OzCatRadio (98.5 FM) from 12:15 to 12:30 pm, and then I'll be doing my show Community Currency on the Future of Money and Technology with Bruce Cahan and Mira Luna, who were also at the summit on Monday. It was quite an event with hundreds of people, many of them I knew, but there was a wide range of folks from across the political and technological spectrum.

Tomorrow night, we will have a quiet family celebration, but next weekend, I'll be baking another cake and we'll have more friends over to feast, play and celebrate Jean-Luc's birthday.

I'm sure it will take me weeks to begin to catch up with all the paperwork I still need to do, plus my life... We're also trying to plan a family vacation to Hawaii, but we just can't find the time to finalize the details- especially coordinating with our distant sons, who are cooking up their own plans, too.

"Take a deep breath and count to ten." The simplest spiritual exercise to help us ground ourselves and reflect before we plunge forward acting on our emotions/passions. I find it difficult to pause when I am beseiged by demands, as well as desires. I had hoped to attend Charles Eisenstein's "Seeding Gift Culture" retreat this week, but I couldn't tear myself away from my work, and the chance to actually have some time alone with my husband, while our kids are gone (for the first time in 21 years!). Besides the radio shows, and organizing our booth at the Green Festival, there are a couple big events coming up in May that need some promotional help-

I'm also attending the Future of Technology and Money Summit on Monday, April 26th and there are additional events coming up before and after the May events, in fact I'm trying to organize a Deep Politics Dialogue/Retreat on the heels of the conference, so that we can deepen our understanding, reflect, and figure out how best we can work together to transition from empire towards community... and trying to bring key people to both the conference and the retreat.

At this point, I think I should just catch up with my friends, update my Christmas letter, and mail out announcements of the new Deception and Perception Dollars and upcoming events. While e-mail has its advantages, there are still many who are not online, and I think mailing the dollars, so that people can actually see them and touch them, is better than sending electronic images. We did get a very strong positive reaction to the new Perception Dollars at the Green Festival, although a few die-hard Democrats were offended by the new Deception Dollars with the Obama image on them. However with all the revelations that are pouring out now about torture, the financial heist, the brutality of the military forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and their complete lack of morality, it is hard to see why anyone could cling to the illusions that Obama might be a champion of the people and not a pawn of the banks and the corporations whom he is serving so well.

I have been in triage mode for most of this month, never quite able to stay ahead of the urgencies of the day, still not quite able to do half the things that I want to do with so many events, people clamouring for my time and attention. At least I did ship the new Perception/Deception Dollars, and the Remarkable Fact Sheets in time for them to be passed out at the big anti-war rallies on March 20th. I didn't find time to write a report on our experience at the San Francisco rally, although many people did take photographs. I did my best to get us a 9/11 Truth speaker, but ANSWER and the program committee were against including someone or addressing the issue.

There does seem to be a concerted effort going to quench/discourage dissent and make it as hard as possible for people to express their First Amendment rights. The city tried to keep the march away from Union Square, prohibit food vendors, discourage any "merchandising," and basically make it hard for anyone to have a good experience at the rally/during the march.

I had brought our sound system, lots of banners, in addition to the table and booth, but we were under so much harassment from the Park Police that I didn't dare to leave the booth and organize the sound, or people to carry our banners during the march. It was sad to see them left behind when people took off. John did put together quite a few picket signs, all of which were distributed and carried during the march (Small signs are a lot easier and less work to deal with than the big banners or the sound system.) We did have tons of the new bills, and the new flyers- ae911truth.org flyers, as well as the new revised 11 Remarkable Facts about 9/11 to pass out. People really liked the new bills. We set up two large tabling areas and two awnings- one for us and one for Bonnie Faulkner and Guns and Butter, but although Bonnie made a cameo appearance, she didn't table. Even though we didn't have any new DVDs, or books, we still received over $1000 in donations. One guy gave us $40. for nothing, but just because he didn't like the way the police were treating us and wanted to show his support and appreciation for our presence at the rally. We were definitely the most popular booth at the rally, even if the organizers were afraid of our issue, people supported us and thanked us for what we were doing, and also helped us to pass out our free literature. The cookies went fast and didn't survive the march and the second rally. Luckily I brought other food to supplement the cookies, which was much appreciated by the hungry marchers. Unfortunately the wind did pick up and damaged a couple of our poles, but I think all of us were glad that we had come.

We are already planning for tabling inside and on the outside of the upcoming Green Festival and working on additional events with Eric Lawyer and Richard Gage in May. My radio show also keeps me busy, and there are so many conferences coming up that I'm wondering where best to direct my time and energy.

My kids have also needed time and attention. Tomorrow night there are 3 events which I would like to attend, but it is Jeremy's last night here, before his Spring Break concludes and he needs to return to Dartmouth. Needless to say, I still haven't gotten out my Christmas letter, nor alerted those who have been buying Deception Dollars that the new issue is available. I also have to deal with lots of paperwork, including moving us from under the umbrella of Agape Foundation to The Peace Development Fund.

Now that I'm doing radio again, I'm also getting more books, films, issues directed my way. I was tempted to attend a press conference at Asilomar today where a Geo-Engineering Conference just concluded. My friend, Dave Casebeer, urged me to go and get the word out. He's very knowledgable on the issue, more commonly referred to as "chemtrails" and suggested that I speak to people working with- geoengineeringwatch.org, www.environmentalvoices.org, www.californiaskywatch.org. The websites and links contain chilling information about the current situation- what is being sprayed into the atmosphere and its harmful effect upon humans and other lifeforms, the chances of it causing more harm than good, and serving a "depopulation agenda" more than anything genuinely benign or helpful. Unfortunately, I just don't have enough time to do everything, so I generally do what I can't resist doing, and things which I believe that I am uniquely capable of doing, which other people won't do.

Despite all the crises that our facing us- the financial collapse, the corruption of the major institutions passing horrendous legislation and the personal crises- my friends losing jobs, their homes, discovering they have cancer, heart problems... I am so grateful to just be alive now, to be able to do what I can, to be surrounded by a loving family and friends. While part of me hates technology for exacerbating the ecological crisis, at the same time, I feel so lucky to be able to receive great books and be able to communicate directly with the authors and invite them to be on my radio show. I feel very fortunate and optimistic that no matter how dark the future seems, genuine change and transformation is possible and more likely than ever before. I am so inspired by the people that I meet.

Splitting The Sky Meets Cynthia McKinney in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, 9 May, 2010:

A Note on a Major Event in the Worldwide Movement to Arrest the Organized Crime of War Profiteers

Hello friends, associates and supporters. Hello, as well, to those who are new to the case of Splitting The Sky versus George W. Bush.

I have no hesitation in asserting that the brilliant content of these videos will be transformative for multitudes of global viewers. These videos contain poetry in You Tube. They offer sophisticated political analysis of the kind that should strike fear in the heart of the criminal class who are currently running the global apparatus of so-called national security. These presentations are studies of effective communication. They embody joy, love and skilled articulation combining classical motifs of ballet-like performance with the free form creativity of hip hop. They highlight two individuals at the top of their form who are leading an accelerating global revolt against the lawless war machine's broadening onslaught. More than any other force, the organized crime of the war machine threatens all humanity-- indeed, all life forms-- with imminent oblivion. Please take the time to study this set of amazing videos and disseminate them far and wide.

The event took place on March 9 only hours after the premature termination of Splitting The Sky's Calgary trial. As the trial was being hurriedly shut down by the state, the legendary Cynthia McKinney arrived in Calgary from London to show solidarity with the veteran Mohawk activist. In an event hosted by my own academic unit, Globalization Studies, and by the University of Calgary's Peace Consortium, STS and Ms. McKinney met for the first time. As they shared stories and joined forces, they came to personify the best spirit of defiance rooted in many generations of resistance towards the forces of colonization, enslavement and resource theft. Together STS and the martyred but still-strong former US Congresswoman, Cynthia McKinney, reflect on what humanity must do now that the heritages of slavery in America and the militarized dispossession of Indigenous peoples have been globalized in the name of the fraudulent Global War on Terror.

As I see it, the case of Splitting The Sky versus George W. Bush will become in the future, even more than it has been in the past, a test case to prove the utter bankruptcy of the censoring mainstream media. This professional malfeasance in the CIA-infested mainstream media stands in contrast with the propensity of activist researchers, publishers, journalists, academics, broadcasters and media artists to use the Internet as a vehicle to advance the revolution that we do intend to televise on You Tube.

Of course, the STS story highlights the media cover up of the lies and crimes of 9/11. But that is only the beginning. STS's story starts with the big cover up of the reality that the New World Order of America began in 1492 with a massive genocide that continues to this day. Add to this monumental cover up the continuing obfuscation of the underlying dynamics that compelled the Attica prisoners, including STS, to revolt against their jailers in 1971.

Similarly, the interests of power have good reason to want to suppress understanding of STS's central role in the Gustafsen Lake Indian War in British Columbia in 1995. There, the Canadian Armed Forces, including Joint Task Force Two (which is centrally involved in special operations in Afghanistan) played a major role in the conflict. The accompanying state-sponsored disinformation and smear campaign was brought to light in a court ruling on an extradition proceeding in Portland Oregon in 2000 entitled USA versus Pitawanakwat. The Canadian and B.C. governments' systematic campaign of media disinformation on the Battle of Gustafsen Lake offers a revealing prelude shedding light on the Cheney-Bush regime's strategy of psychological warfare employed to give a false-impression of legitimacy to the lawless resource grab advanced in the name of Global War on Terror.

The ongoing genocide that began in 1492 continues to advance the theft of natural resources from Indigenous peoples around the world. The founding of America on this primal original crime extends these days to the creation of new forms of appropriation, domination, murder and enslavement. It finds expression in the sweat shops, forced labour camps, torture chambers and assassination squads of the privatized terror economy. The Big Obama Psy Op is elevating and expanding the 9/11 wars of terror that the new president took over from the Cheney-Bush cabal of war profiteers. Please do yourself a favour and explore these videos while making sure that others are given the same opportunity.

I think there is hope for Splitting the Sky. The Calgary Sun posted an article entitled- Citizen's arrest of George W. Bush justified, court hears. Russia Today also covered the story and interviewed Splitting the Sky-

Joshua Blakeney, Media Coordinator of Globalization Studies University of Lethbridge, wrote a firsthand account of yesterday's events entitled- George W. Bush gets his day in court! STS vs. Bush trial goes forward. Kevin Barrett hopes to get an update from the trial on his radio show this morning.

From London I heard-

"We had two meetings with Cynthia McKinney, yesterday: the first for MPs and their assistants in in a committee room in parliament, the second a packed public meeting of some 150 people in the School of Oriental and African Studies. The public meeting was excellent, probably the best meeting we've ever held in London. Cynthia was on great form, receiving a well deserved standing ovation at the end of her talk. She was supported by 9/11 authors Nafeez Ahmed and Ian Henshall, who also gave good speeches, and by an excellent chairwoman: Dr Jay Ginn, who has been a long term peace campaigner since her involvement with the Committee of 100 in the the 1960s.

So it looks like Cynthia McKinney will arrive this evening for an event in Calgary and will have a chance to speak at the trial tomorrow.

The main argument being put before the court is that the Canadian law used to prevent George Galloway from speaking at anti-war rallies was unjustly ignored to illegally allow Bush into the coutry and that it was the right and duty of citizens to uphold the law because the Canadian officials were derelict in their duty.

I'm going to the Veterans for Peace meeting tonight, to see if they will support an event with Professor Anthony J. Hall; I did find one professor who can get us a classroom. I believe Anthony is experienced enough to help us overcome the technological hurdles, but I have yet to figure out all the details.

The Day of the Trial of Splitting the Sky Versus George W. Bush

Today is also the day that the new Deception and Perception Dollars should be done, but we will have to wait and see what actually happens... I did put the trial date, the words- "Splitting the Sky Versus George W. Bush" and "The Calgary Principles" on the new bills. I did post a few articles, and I did lobby to have Splitting the Sky, Professor Anthony J. Hall, and Richard Gage, AIA, Founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth at the March 20th San Francisco Anti-War Rally. I am trying to find a venue for Professor Hall to speak at in the Bay Area on March 17th or 24th, to raise more awareness about the Calgary Principles. He does a webcast every Wednesday for a class he teaches on "Globalization" and he'd like to do one from the Bay Area, but there isn't much time to organize something like that. I will have him and Splitting the Sky on my upcoming radio show (which also happens to fall on the 11th- which will be very challenging, since I also do my monthly truth action in Palo Alto on that day. Last Thursday, I was so busy doing errands and preparing for my radio show, that I forgot to take cookies out of the oven (that I was baking for the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance meeting that night) and I burnt the cookies. It was embarrassing. I smelled them and said, "Oh my God." I dropped my headphones and took the cookies out of the oven, rushed back (my guest had no idea that I actually had left the room and missed whatever he was saying)... Well, nobody is perfect and I obviously was trying to do more than I could manage.

I just spent over an hour talking with my son, Jules, who is ten and a half weeks from graduating from college. He thought a good analogy to describe his life was the sandwich he buys for lunch- a fifteen inch subway sandwich which he piles with all sorts of ingredients, they bake it, and he joyously devours it, but it does take him about half an hour to do so, because it is just so BIG. He is trying to do the same thing with his last ten and a half weeks of college, and he is doing a lot of things, projects...and having a lot of fun, too.

In the book that I am currently reading (and enjoying very much) The Ascent of Humanity: The Age of Separation, the Age of Reunion, and the convergence of crises that is birthing the transition by Charles Eisenstein (who will be on my radio show on March 25, 2010); Charles describes how man began to separate himself from nature through technology, and how the more technological fixes mankind devised, the more problems man created, eventually the problems have become so "unmanagable" and life so "uncontrollable" that humanity is being forced to challenge key assumptions about the nature of reality. Instead of using technology to control nature, someday hopefully humanity will employ technology only to assist and serve nature... By trusting the innate wisdom of the Universe, the structure that permeates the incredibly diverse complex world around us and our own response to it, we actually can discover greater energy, joy, and instead of battling to "control" our lives "Surrender" to the joy and magic of the moment, and accomplish much more, with less effort, and greater pleasure. At least that has been what I've been trying to do, though life is always a balancing act for me. I am however, blessing even the obstacles that block my path these days, because I know from experience that whatever detours I'm obliged to take will be a gift in some way.

On Friday morning Professor Hall called me and we had a good talk. I wanted to know as many details as I could about what the trial would hold, so that I could write an accurate article about it, but even Anthony didn't actually know what was going to happen. He had spoken at length with Ramsey Clark about strategy, and knew that the lawyer was pressuring Splitting the Sky to steer clear of the 9/11 issue, and that much of the decision lay upon Splitting the Sky's shoulders, and it was impossible for him to predict how the trial would go. Certainly, very powerful forces are at work to "spin" and control "the trial, the story, the worldviews of the vast majority of people on the planet." I think we are resigned to walking a challenging path and we know where we want to go, but we have no idea how long it will take us to get there or how many detours, barriers and obstacles will be tossed at us along the way.

The evolution of the latest batch of Dollars was arduous and long, but I also think that some of the worst delays, obstacles, also turned out to be blessings in disguise- such as being able to include the trial date and "The Calgary Principles" on the bills, as well as getting an "ok" from David Ray Griffin to include his book title- The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7 and Why the Final Official Report is Unscientific and False and his website- davidraygriffin.com on the bills.

Life is chaotic, as usual. Blaine came up with a new design for the Deception Dollar which I liked, and now that complicates things, because it means more work for him to come up with all the art and changes for two different bills- one plain, and one with graffiti. So we missed the art deadline for last Monday, but I got sick, and hadn't had time to raise enough money for the new printing. AND the final version of the 11 Remarkable Facts about 9/11 sheets still isn't done, yet. Ken Jenkins is optimistic and patient; I guess I need to learn how to do that, too, and learn "how to be less concerned about things like deadlines/events" - but that is so against my nature, which does respond to the urgency of deadlines/events/keeping committments and promises. The two power outages last week threw me off so badly- it was embarrassing not to be able to do the press outreach that I promised to do- for a major 9/11 Truth event. (Although not being able to work on the computer/make phone calls/fax/even bake- gave me a forced vacation and allowed me to indulge myself and read a good book). I posted an article entitled- Dollars for Dollars - Media Buy the People. Janice also helped me by posting an article on 911Truth.org with a special pre-publication offer. If I had time (and was well), I should do a mailing (and get out that Christmas letter), but I'm still in triage mode with a radio show today on Creating a State Bank for California with Ellen Brown and Laura Wells and a meeting later tonight.

Over the weekend, I was running between the conference and home, cooking for Daniel's Robotic's Team, and trying to work with Blaine on the evolving Perception Dollar Art and the Deception Dollar Art. It's not finished, but I needed to post it on this website and send it out to the various webmasters, in hopes of raising printing funds. I should send the art out to my friends, too- but there simply hasn't been enough time. I'm also trying to help with press for the big AE911Truth.org event on Friday. We had a media phone conference call this morning- and it was amazing what wasn't working- Richard Gage's office lost power, www.911blogger.com which we rely on for so much organizing work was down. It felt like the government was in panic mode and engaged in cyber-warfare against us. I have not done enough to prepare for or promote the new radio show with Richard Gage, AIA, and Steven Jones this coming Thursday. Besides the media work, I need to get to bank, post office, get groceries, cook dessert tomorrow for GRT, and celebrate Valentine's Day with Jean-Luc who has invited me to see Cirque du Soleil. There are just not enough hours in the day to do all the work that needs to be done.

I just returned from the hospital. Janette has had major brain surgery, but it went well, and she is in good spirits. There is a convergence next week of the many projects that I am trying to launch, the new radio show, the new Deception/Perception Dollars and helping with the AE911Truth.org event/press conference/luncheon/conference, plus cooking for Daniel's Robotics Team, and trying to attend a conference this weekend. I hesitate to say which one, because I sometimes feel like I am being stalked and don't want to broadcast my whereabouts. The person plaging me seemed surprised that I am not running for Congress, but at the same time his relentless presence has driven me from Green Party events and meetings and curbed my attendance in local groups. In some ways, it has been a blessing, since I have joined new groups and have more time to do the radio show, which hopefully will have a more positive impact than a thankless Congressional run.

Lining up guests for the radio show opens all sorts of new possibilities and opportunities to connect various people- like Ellen Brown and Laura Wells to champion a California Bank. Sheila loves radio and its good to have her input and ideas, and hopefully energy to do the things that I simply don't have time to do, when I'm under a lot of pressure.

I did get a phone call from a mainstream reporter, who felt that 9/11 was the "story of the century" and talked with me for two hours. I sent her books and DVDs and hope that she will write a good story that won't get axed by some higher-up in her news organization. I remember the book "Into the Buzzsaw" where journalists sacrificed their careers to pursue important stories that were actively censored by their news organizations. One can only hope that eventually the public, the press will "wake up" and there will be some genuine accountability and reversal of the horrendous policies that are still driving us towards the cliff.

My dear friend, Janette Mackinlay, a pillar of the 9/11 Truth Movement just learned that she had a brain tumor and underwent surgery/a biopsy this week. I posted an article entitled Surviving 9/11 about the situation. She is home from the hospital and being supported by her two sons right now.

Richard Gage, AIA, is planning a major press conference/luncheon/strategy conference in San Francisco on February 19th to mark the milestone that Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth have achieved in obtaining over 1000 architects and engineers to join them in signing their petition demanding an independent investigation of 9/11, that particularly looks into the destruction of the three World Trade Center buildings.

I am still working on the art/websites for the new Perception and Deception Dollars and am planning to launch our new radio show- Community Currency on February 18th.

So much is happening in the financial arena that I can barely track all the revelations. My favorite news sources are globalresearch.ca and maxkeiser.com and Ellen Brown is great at sending me her most recent articles, including BATTLE OF THE TITANS: JPMORGAN VS. GOLDMAN SACHS -- or Why the Market Was Down 7 Days in a Row, a fascinating look at a new schism within the ruling class. When I went for a walk today with a friend, I tried to explain to him how similar my son's robotic team's upcoming competitions were to the geopolitical struggles. The rules are complex and the kid's teams must not only compete against other teams, but they must know how to cooperate, as well, and form alliances with others. They call it "coopetition." Sadly, we witness it all the time in politics, but generally elite interests are cooperating with one another to trick and rob the vast majority of people and keep their crooked games afloat. In Ellen's article, one faction of the elite want to make it less blatantly obvious that the manipulation and robbing is going on, by mildly toning it down, before popular outrage provokes the overturning of the current game board.

On another level, I have found another author, Charles Eisenstein who strikes me as a kindred spirit and has written some excellent articles on shifting from the exchange economy to the gift economy, including Money and the Turning of the Age and Money and the Crisis of Civilization. I hope to have him as a guest on the new radio show.

I just posted a Christmas Letter to friends and family and need to respond to all the emails and letters that I've received over the past few months/Christmas. Life continues to distract me from the endless computer work, that I "could be doing." Lytton Plaza was renovated and I did my Listening Project there, again, on January 11th, after being driven away by its closure for several months. I suspect it will be renamed. By coincidence, on the 11th, TV Channel 5 was doing a story, and so we made a cameo appearance on local tv.

I've also missed the last couple of Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance meetings, for health reasons, and need to get to tonight's meeting, and have lots to do in the meantime.

After eight years of working on 9/11 Truth, and over seventeen intense years of activism working on a range of issues, I can no longer focus all of my time and attention on 9/11 Truth. There are others, more capable than I to champion the issue, although I plan on continuing my supporting role for the movement. However, there are other things that I am interested in, and feel compelled to work on, such as the monetary system, global economics, and general consciousness raising to help humanity through turbulent changes which are happening now and will probably continue to happen at an accelerating rate.

Since it doesn't "feel appropriate" to voice the "other issues" and my personal opinions on my "9/11 Truth blog," I created this new blog to cover a wider range of thoughts, actions and information.

I have been doing some soul searching, plus reading, listening to lectures, participating in a teleseminar entitled Women on the Edge of Evolution and have joined with a small circle of women in the Bay Area. With all the events that are taking place, the profusion of information, articles, books, documentaries coming my way. I find myself once again, somewhat overwhelmed, unable to process, disseminate, or distill the essence or wisdom of all the ore and nuggets that have been deluging me. At the same time, I have tried to slow down, spend more time with the people I am close to, go for walks, hikes, talk, dialogue, and find a balance, so that I can reflect, and hopefully make better decisions when I plunge myself into a more active mode. Not that I am not "active" - my days are filled. I began working on my website this morning, before I had to catch up on housework/cooking/ and leave for San Francisco for the Veterans for Peace Holiday Potluck. Now it is midnight, and I am supposed to go on an 8 mile hike tomorrow- if we are lucky and the conditions aren't prohibitively bad... (There is a 50/50 chance of rain- and it is close to freezing right now.)
