I would like to follow up Carol's lead in exposing the fake 'homeland' and national 'security'.

Instead of talking about security, I will talk about human intelligence.

I'll begin by defining the term, human intelligence, as I understand it.

Human intelligence is the process of taking many different ideas, perceptions, points of view, and arranging them in just the right way to solve problems where humans are being harmed.

That may sound a bit complicated, but the idea is simple. Human intelligence is creating real solutions out of harm-filled situations.

The focus of human intelligence is solving, truthfinding.

You may have noticed that this definition of human intelligence is different from how you normally hear the word 'intelligence'.

Let's quickly run through the other uses of the word.

'Manipulation of intelligence' - also known as terror-filled lies told to force us into going to war.

Here we have the 'intelligence' of spies and paramilitaries - information gathered secretly for the purpose of gaining an advantage over your enemies.

The main trade of CIA, DIA, NSA, all the acronym soup.

There's even a corporate form of this spying, called 'marketing intelligence'.

And for those who have watched the BBC's 'Power of Nightmares', you know that the line between corporate and government spooks, between Wall Street and the CIA, is thin to non-existent.

And then we have the most deranged form of anti-'intelligence' in 'counter-intelligence programs', also known as COINTELPRO.

Here we see the true purpose of the spying and lying that government agencies and so much advertising puts out.

The whole purpose of this 'counter-intellgence' is to PREVENT people from being able to figure out and know the truth - whether it is the CIA cooking up phantom weapons stockpiles, or a television spokesperson singing praises for deadly pharmaceuticals.

You know, now that I think about it, this anti-intelligence sounds an awful lot like the 'Intelligence Transformation Act' that congresswoman Eshoo co-sponsored in the House - helping the CIA and Homeland Security to 'Transform' our minds into mush.

Such anti-human, anti-intelligence needs to come to an end.

And we need to begin again nurturing human intelligence, that carefully sorts out what is true, what is mistaken, and what is deliberately created falsehood that is intended to be taken as true.

Without such human intelligence in our leadship, and pervading our lives, we will remain trapped in a tangled web of lies, spun by our oppressors.

In order to get there, we will need courage amongst our leaders, activists, and the general population.

Here again, let me be clear about what I mean by courage, because the manipulators in power have confused this important idea as well.

We do not need the false courage of overcoming the intense, natural resistance to killing another human being -- that FALSE courage, insisted upon by the military and used so effectively to witch-hunt dissenters against war.

"You don't call the troops courageous? You must be a traitor."

No, we need REAL courage - the courage to take calculated risks for the benefit of all humankind:

- through daring, highly disciplined civil disobedience
- through writing and speaking truth IN PUBLIC, IN WRITING, and ON RECORD.

We need the courage to create that which does not yet exist -- the healthy, vital world that we all so desperately want and need.

Let us always keep our courage realistic as well.

We do not wish to share the fate of Martin Luther King Jr.

We do not seek to become martyrs in the name truth.

We know too well that almost ALL of the much publicized martyrs nowadays are merely desperate, heavily CIA manipulated youth, if not complete phantoms.

Most other countries on Earth, and most people on Earth have little or zero ability to publically express grievances, nor seek new political regimes.

Our privileged position, with out freedoms and resources, requires a responsible courage.

Again, human intelligence and responsible courage.

With Carol's campaign, we will not put off our goals until after the election.

All along this road of struggle, we must ever more clearly and articulately define the world we want and need, and ever more simply and self-evidently expose the deception and harm-doing of those with power over our lives.

This is also why we stand alongside the Green Party's recent demand for a recount in Ohio.

The 2004 election felt to me like the Democrats vaccuumed up all their supporters meager spending money and savings - quite a burn, and what did we get out of it?

I attended a town hall meeting with Democratic Minority leader Pelosi in San Francisco yesterday -- the overwhelming sentiment was for impeachment.

This same roar for impeachment thundered in Jim Moran's C-SPAN televised town hall meeting in Virgina (CIA HQ Congressperson).

This same roar for impeachment erupted from Jon Stewart's crowd when casually mentioned by the talk show host.

The people are ready for regime change - and more: systemic change.

With Carol Brouillet's campaign for Congress we have the chance to discover the limits of electoral politics, and push beyond them with our courage, human intelligence, wit, and organized millions.
